Content and ecommerce unite for Executive Secretary Magazine
Apr 01 2011
Executive Secretary is a new magazine aimed at senior level secretaries and personal assistants. This influential group have long been recognised as the gateway to many purchasing decisions and have an enviable degree of access to top level management, but who is looking after them?
Executive Secretary Magazine addresses this with a bi-monthly magazine full of training and career advice features, which is then built upon with a website that Shine launched at the end of March 2010.
At launch the site is free-to-access, and the first edition content is provided online. Paid subscriptions are already being sold and subscribers from around the world are already showing he title's early potential.
The site is complemented by a busy LinkedIn group where the enthusiasm of the community is already evident.
Whilst the magazine itself carries no advertising, additional revenue opportunities have been created through jobs and events listings. The content paywall will come into effect before the May edition, at which point much of the core content will be restricted to paying subscribers.
The site's subscription database has also been integrated with the Shine Email Marketing platform which will also carry advertising to non-paying members of the business' database.
Further revenue opportunities are being explored including an iPad app to reach countries where there is not yet a print magazine distribution partner.
