Shine Marketing is a rapidly expanding online marketing agency, based in Hampton Wick close to Kingston upon Thames. 

We provide website design & build, online marketing skills, specialising in the upmarket retail ecommerce sector.

As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Web Designer to assist with website and marketing projects for a range of clients.

Job Description

Your role will be to work with clients, our  brand team and web project managers to create attractive and effective website designs for a wide range of target audiences.

You will work closely with the client to understand thier design and content requirements, then with our development teams to produce solutions which are visually appealing, enhance the client's brand, and fulfil the needs of the user.

Required Skills

Above all we require someone with a desire and ability to create exciting online creative for our clients, eliciting positive responses from thier customers.

Fireworks / Photoshop skills are essential to pass your creative work to the production team

An understanding of front-end technologies including XHTML, CSS and Javascript / jQuery are also required

Knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP and ASP, or templating for content management systems are not vital but would give you an advantage.

Personal attributes needed

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience in a similar role. The role would suit a person with existing client-side, agency or freelance experience, who is comfortable working on a wide range of projects.  You should be able to follow brand directives accurately, and creative input during consultations will be expected. 

A passion for all things online and a desire to see your work at play improving other people's businesses is a must. You will be working within a team comprising brand consultants,  developers, marketers and project managers so the ability to understand the varied requirements of larger teams is a must, as well as the character to stand your ground and defend your ideas when appropriate.

You should have the skills and confidence to take ownership of design briefs and meet varying targets and deadlines.

Package

Salary: £30-35K dependent on experience
